This Keto Wonder Bread Chaffle is soft, fluffy, and perfect as a low-carb sandwich bread, burger bun, or toast alternative. Quick to make and naturally gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp almond flour

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • (Optional) 1 tbsp shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  • Preheat mini waffle maker.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together egg, mayo, almond flour, and baking powder.

  • Stir in shredded cheese if using.

  • Lightly grease waffle maker. Pour in half of the batter.

  • Cook 3–4 minutes until golden and set.

  • Remove and cool slightly. Repeat with remaining batter.

Notes

  • Use coconut flour (1 tbsp) as a nut-free swap (add extra mayo).

  • For carnivore, sub almond flour with 2 tbsp canned chicken.

  • Great for sandwiches, breakfast, or toast.

  • Store in fridge or freeze for later.
