This Keto Wonder Bread Chaffle is soft, fluffy, and perfect as a low-carb sandwich bread, burger bun, or toast alternative. Quick to make and naturally gluten-free.
1 large egg
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp almond flour
¼ tsp baking powder
(Optional) 1 tbsp shredded mozzarella
Preheat mini waffle maker.
In a small bowl, whisk together egg, mayo, almond flour, and baking powder.
Stir in shredded cheese if using.
Lightly grease waffle maker. Pour in half of the batter.
Cook 3–4 minutes until golden and set.
Remove and cool slightly. Repeat with remaining batter.
Use coconut flour (1 tbsp) as a nut-free swap (add extra mayo).
For carnivore, sub almond flour with 2 tbsp canned chicken.
Great for sandwiches, breakfast, or toast.
Store in fridge or freeze for later.
