Crispy Baked Ground Beef Tacos are oven-baked to golden perfection with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and crunchy shells. Quick, satisfying, and perfect for family dinners or taco nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ small onion, diced (optional)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, etc.)
  • 1012 hard taco shells

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat.
  2. Add onion (if using) and cook 3–4 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange taco shells in baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle cheese in the bottom of each shell. Add beef mixture, then top with more cheese.
  5. Bake 10–12 minutes until crispy and melted.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

 

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add salsa or beans to the filling.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F to restore crispness.
  • Store beef filling separately if meal prepping.
