1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

¼ cup water or beef broth
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, pepper, and oil. Let sit 10–15 minutes.
  2. Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Sear beef in hot pan until browned. Remove.
  4. Stir-fry onions and peppers 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and ginger. Cook 30 seconds.
  6. Add sauce and simmer until thickened. Return beef and toss to coat.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Slice beef thinly against the grain. Use tamari for gluten-free. Add chili for heat. Great for meal prep.
