These juicy Greek chicken burgers are packed with herbs, lemon, garlic, and feta, then topped with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce for the perfect fresh and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

lbs ground chicken
¼ cup red onion, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese
¼ cup plain breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
4 burger buns or lettuce wraps

Tzatziki Sauce:
1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
½ medium cucumber, grated and squeezed
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make the tzatziki by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Chill.
  2. Combine burger ingredients in a large bowl. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Form into 4–5 patties and chill for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Heat grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Toast buns if desired.
  6. Assemble burgers with tzatziki, optional toppings, and serve hot.

Notes

Use dark meat chicken for extra juiciness. Tzatziki can be made ahead. Add red pepper flakes for heat.
