Honey Lime Chicken That’s Fresh and Flavorful

Juicy chicken marinated in honey, lime, garlic, and soy, then grilled, baked, or pan-seared until caramelized and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
⅓ cup fresh lime juice
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: chili flakes, cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk marinade ingredients in bowl or bag.
  2. Add chicken and marinate 30 mins to 8 hours.
  3. Grill 5–6 mins per side, or
  4. Bake at 425°F for 20–25 mins, or
  5. Sear in pan 5–6 mins per side, simmering marinade until thick.
  6. Let rest 5 mins, garnish, and serve.

Notes

Use tamari for gluten-free. Add chili for heat. Serve with rice, tacos, or salad. Freezes well raw or cooked.
