This Healthy Banana Bread is moist, fluffy, and naturally sweetened — made vegan and gluten-free with oat and almond flours. A wholesome twist on a classic comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 1¼ cups mashed)

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 tbsp water

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ¼ cup almond milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup oat flour

  • ¾ cup almond flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Optional: ⅓ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×5″ loaf pan.

  • Mix flaxseed and water, let sit 5 min.

  • In a bowl, mash bananas. Stir in flax egg, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla.

  • Add flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix gently.

  • Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.

  • Pour into loaf pan and smooth top.

  • Bake 45–55 min, until toothpick comes out clean.

  • Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas. Store in fridge up to 5 days or freeze slices for later.
