6 bell peppers, tops cut, seeds removed
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1½ cups cooked rice
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prep peppers and optionally pre-bake for 10 minutes.
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add beef and seasonings. Cook until browned.
Stir in rice, tomato sauce, paste, and Worcestershire. Simmer 5 minutes.
Fill peppers with mixture. Top with cheese.
Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10–15 more minutes. Serve warm.
