Easy Chicken Boursin Sauce for Cozy Dinners

A rich and creamy skillet chicken dish made with Boursin Garlic & Herb cheese, heavy cream, and tender pan-seared chicken. A fast and flavorful dinner ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup chicken broth
⅓ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to make 4 thin cutlets. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Add broth, bring to a simmer, and reduce slightly.
  5. Lower heat. Stir in Boursin and cream. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to pan. Simmer 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use chicken thighs if preferred. Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies. Reheat gently with added cream or broth.
