Tender strips of chicken coated in crispy, seasoned breadcrumbs and baked until golden. These healthier homemade chicken tenders are perfect for quick dinners or family-friendly meals.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or breast strips

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper

  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or a wire rack.

  • Set up breading stations: flour, beaten eggs, seasoned breadcrumbs.

  • Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

  • Place on the baking sheet and spray tops lightly with oil.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.

  • Let rest briefly before serving with dips or sides.

Notes

  • For gluten-free, use GF breadcrumbs and flour.

  • Add Parmesan for extra flavor.

  • Reheat leftovers in oven or air fryer for best texture.
