Ingredients

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp orange zest
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, yolk, orange zest, juice, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture and mix until combined.
Fold in cranberries and chips.
Chill dough for 1 hour.
Scoop dough onto lined baking sheets.
Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Add a citrus glaze for extra flair.
Freeze baked cookies or raw dough balls for up to 3 months.
