  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg, yolk, orange zest, juice, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in cranberries and chips.
  5. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  6. Scoop dough onto lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
  8. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
