Ingredients

4 cups mini pretzels (twists or snaps)
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Flaky sea salt, to taste
Optional: chopped pecans, white chocolate drizzle, holiday sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or foil and grease lightly.
Arrange pretzels in a single layer to cover the pan.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes without stirring.
Stir in vanilla, then carefully pour hot caramel over pretzels. Spread evenly.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit 2–3 minutes to melt, then spread smooth.
Top with flaky sea salt and any optional toppings.
Cool at room temp, then chill 1 hour to set.
Break into pieces and store airtight in fridge.
