This Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage bake is the ultimate one-dish comfort meal. Roasted potatoes, savory sausage, and gooey melted cheese all tossed in creamy ranch — perfect for cozy dinners or crowd-pleasing potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups diced potatoes (Yukon or russet)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 oz ranch seasoning packet

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • ½ cup sour cream or ranch dressing

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional toppings: green onions, bacon, parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9×13″ dish.

  • Toss potatoes with oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  • Bake 25–30 min, stirring halfway.

  • Add sausage, sour cream, and 1 cup cheese. Mix well.

  • Top with remaining cheese and bake 15–20 more min.

  • Broil 2–3 min if desired. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

Add bell peppers or onions for extra flavor. Use cauliflower for low-carb version. Keeps 3–4 days in fridge.
